Recently there has been an influx of short term rentals in our neighborhood. This is causing a disturbance to everyone near them. Whether it is noise at all hours of the day, or speeding cars down our streets we want it to stop.
Short Term rentals have made it on the agenda for the September 9th meeting. The meeting is at 6pm. The agenda will be posted 72 hours ahead of the meeting and a link to the zoom meeting and I will put a link to it here.
Please call when there is a problem and let them know there is a disturbance. Short Term Rental operators need a permit to rent their property and if they are causing a disturbance in the area their permit can be revoked.
Manuel Perez is the District 4 Supervisor and out local representative. The police can not take any action unless there is a law or regulation being broken so letting Supervisor Perez know we want him to take action is a step in the right direction.
Talk to your neighbors about what you are experiencing. Even if they are not being disturbed by the noise from the rental near you their neighbor or house behind them might be for sale and they may have a similar problem too.
We are asking for a $7 donation to pay for signs. All the donations are just to help get the word out, all the time is being volunteered by our neighbors. If you are not able to donate we would still be glad to have a sign in your yard and your support.
